St. Cloud State University’s Husky Dixieland Band will perform its first virtual 
concert at 8 p.m. Feb. 23. The concert will be viewable at 
www.StCloudState.edu/LiveEvents/Ritsche 

Ritsche Auditorium was recently fitted with the technology and equipment to 
produce a virtual concert. The Dixieland Band’s performance will be the first 
broadcast to the Internet since the changes at Ritsche. 

It is also the first Internet‐broadcast concert for the Minnesota State Colleges and 
Universities system, according to Husky Sports Band Director Glen Tuomaala. 

The band will take requests via e‐mail and respond during the concert. 

The concert will consist of classic Dixieland tunes such as “When the Saints Go 
Marching In,” “St. James Infirmary,” “Hello Dolly,” “That’s a Plenty” and “Down by 
the Riverside.” 

Song requests should be made at band@StCloudState.edu. The virtual concert is 
free.

SCSU Husky Dixieland Band's First Virtual Concert on Feb 23
