2. Who are we?
LIVING PARADIGM CDC is a not-for-profit group in
HTX with a mission to empower people to participate
in the American dream of homeownership and
healthy lifestyles through the creation of homes that
are environmentally responsible, locally sourced and
built, and contribute to the culture, spirit, and
individuality of the community.
Our work promotes equitable access to sustainable
lifestyles and designs for communities that have
sustained impacts from environmental injustices and
natural disasters. We work with low to moderate
income residents in Harris County, Texas.

4. What are we
doing?
Through a pilot program, we are rebuilding homes in low-income
neighborhoods that have been affected by Hurricane Harvey, with a
long-standing goal of restoring 300-500 homes in the next year. We
have identified our first home for this goal, located in the Historic 5th
Ward and are partnering with several community organizations to
further our work.
Currently, we are mobilizing to source necessary materials to rebuild
these homes with 100% of donations going directly to restoration
materials.
