  1. 1. ==== ====Tired of waiting? To find out where to get Your smart UnLocked Nokia Lumia 800 click the linkbelow! (Theres one Lumia waiting for You right now :) ====This will definitely be an interesting duel, between two great smartphones, of two differentbackgrounds. Presenting to you the Lumia 800 - the companys first Windows Phone smartphoneand the pride and joy of Nokia. This flagship relies heavily on Nokias famed built quality, a greatOS from Microsoft and some Carl Zeiss magic, in order to take a big chunk out of todays market. The other competitor weve thrown into the arena is without doubt a worthy adversary - MotorolaRAZR XT910 shows up with a thin, ultra-cool design and its dual-core power to show everyonewhy Android is number one. Lets not waste any more time and jump straight to business. The first round refers to the form and built aspects and we can tell straight away that its going tobe hard to find a winner. Here are the measurements - Nokia Lumia 800 - 116.5 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm,142 g - Motorola RAZR - 130.7 x 68.9 x 7.1 mm, 127 g. Both manufacturers know how to puttogether a long-lasting and easy on the eye device and its the same case with the two handsets inquestion. The Lumia 800 gives you certain balance and comfort feeling when holding in your hand, while also having a great looking polycarbonate chassis which also works as a protection in casethe phone is dropped. The Moto RAZR is equally durable and shares pretty much the samepremium elements as Nokias flagship. The one thing that totally makes it different is the 7.1mmthick body which can either prove to be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on thecustomers choice. Both handsets feature Gorilla Glass, meaning that theres no chance ofdamage coming from your keys, coins or whatever sharp objects you carry around in your pocket. As we mentioned, its a tricky round, and we cant declare anything else than a draw.Display: our second round focuses on what these two smartphones have to offer in terms of theirscreen technology. The one on the RAZR is really impressive - a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plusscreen operating at a resolution of 540 x 960 while offering a pixel density of 256PPI. On the otherhand, the Lumia 800 is trying to keep up, using a 3.7 inch AMOLED screen which runs at 480 x800 and boosts a pixel density of 252PPI. We love the AMOLED screens on both of them, thepower demand is low, the colors are vivid and everything truly looks great. However, the SuperAMOLED screen on Motorolas RAZR proved to be brighter, demanding less power and offeringbetter sunlight legibility, helping the Android handset to clearly win this round.Power - although the Nokia Lumia 800 relies on a single core CPU, namely the Scorpion 1.4GHz,it proves to be really impressive. The Snapdragon chipset also has a great performer in theAdreno 205 GPU, which will come in handy when youre undergoing lots of tasks simultaneously. On the downside, the WP device only has a standard 512MB of RAM which is not even decent. The RAZR XT910 features a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU, which is far better than the one onthe Lumia. Furthermore, it also has PowerVR SGX540 graphics and 1GB of RAM, making it veryeasy for us to choose. This round goes to the RAZR.
  2. 2. The camera department should really be a place where the Lumia 800 can feel like home. Thatsdue to Nokias longtime relationship with Carl Zeiss, which is also present for Lumias 8 megapixelcamera, which includes auto-focus, dual-LED flash, 720p movie capture and geo-tagging. Weadmit, it has the capability to take some great pictures, but it also has some flaws which the RAZRdoesnt have. For example, it can prove to be really slow to focus and it also falls flat when tryingto snap impromptu shots. The camera on the RAZR is yet another 8MP but offer a more solidperformance. It features LED-flash, touch-focus, face detection, geo-tagging, image stabilizationand 1080P video capture. To top it off, Motos handset also offer a 1.3MP front-facing camera, enabling you to video chat on the go, and making the handset a clear winner of yet another round. The software part is really difficult to analyze, but were going to do our best. As you surely know, the Lumia 800 runs on the latest Windows Phone 7.5 platform, which proves to be a surprisinglygood OS. Not only does it have a solid foundation, but it also offers goodies such as multitasking,Internet Explorer 9, a universal inbox which brings all of your email accounts together, threadedmessage support and many others. What about apps you ask?! Not to worry, all you have to do isaccess the Windows Phone Marketplace and get all the apps you could possibly want. Android 2.3Gingerbread is the OS that makes the Motorola RAZR run so smooth. It features dozens ofelements which made this Android version so popular, as well as allowing the user plenty of roomcustomization and improvement. The Android Market is the place where youll find hundreds ofdesired apps. Alongside this nice Android foundation, Motorola brings some unique customizationto the table which is also welcomed. Deciding on which OS is better really represents animpossible task, because its hard to establish a universal pattern which pleases users. The goodnews is that both devices are fast and really easy to use, so no one should mind if we call this onea draw.To start off our conclusion, we must say what a good smartphone the Lumia 800 is. It really showsthat Nokia is moving in the right direction and we can only hope that their handsets will becomebetter and better. However, the Motorola RAZR XT910 won more rounds and on the whole, represents a smarter choice. Its slim, light and reaches blazing fast speeds thanks to its dual-coreengine. No matter what handset you will choose in the end, rest assured that you made a goodchoice, since both devices are one of the best on the market.
