Presenter Kyle Monahan explores this question by analyzing two case studies: the ceramic water filter technology and its interaction with the cultural definition of clean water, and the disparities of water use in China on both the local (cognitive perception) and the provincial (social perception) levels. Kyle is a PhD student at Tufts University in Environmental Health Engineering, a Water Diplomacy NSF IGERT Fellow and has extensive research experience in sustainable water treatments.
