1. Finca La Manuela
FINCA LA MANUELA is the result of careful farming techniques and a hand
picking process of red beans followed by traditional processing methods.
The exceptional flavor of these coffees is due to the gentle breeze and
sunshine in a region where environmental richness is always protected.
Local communities that participate in the production of our estate coffee
enjoy access to basic education, health services and transportation within
the region. This is part of our policy of social and environmental commitment.
LUCERO CAFÉ S.A.
Our Company is a family business that began in 1925, when the founder,
don José D. (Lolo) Gómez Mejía devoted himself to producing and selling
coffee. Later on in 1978, together with his sons, he founded the Gómez
Coffee Mill in Manizales which today exports green coffee. Further expansion
occurred in 1988 with the opening of the San Antonio Coffee Mill in Pereira. www.utzcertified.org
In 2004 the San Antonio Mill was rebuilt on a new location in an industrial
park. The Mill has the most modern technology and warehouse capacity.
In 2007 the company was divided in two new companies. Now we have
