I arrived in the colony for a little extra money. I started with $1000 dollars, and had to pay for my family and land. After finding my yearly land payment of $64, I paid what I owed and had $936 left.
I have 1600 acres of land. I spent $250 on cotton, and $150 on cattle and lumber. That all cost $550 dollars, and my Gross Income was $850. I then, had to subtract $936 from $550 to get my remaining money, $386.
Since my remaining money is $386, I added that with my Gross Income, and got my total for the year, $1236.
It’s year 2, and I have to subtract my yearly land payment from the Bank Balance, and I got $1172.
I now will spent $200 on cotton and cattle, and $150 on lumber. That cost $550, and my Gross Income was $750. Subtract $550 from $1175, and you get my remaining money, $622.
Since my remaining money is $622, add the Gross Income to my remaining money and you get $1372 for the year.
It’s year 3, and I have to subtract my yearly land payment from my Bank Balance, and I got $1308.
I will now spent $400 on cotton, $200 on lumber, and $100 on cattle. That all cost $700, and my Gross Income was $1800. Subtract $1308 from $700, and I have my remaining money, $608.
Since my remaining money is $608, add the Gross Income to the remaining money, and you get $2408 for the year.
I had already gotten my total 3 year budget while in Austin’s Colony, but Mexico helped San Felipe in gaining an extra $600 dollars, ending me with $3008. Yay!
