I am applying for the Student Assistant position advertised on the State of Michigan
website. I bring two years of customer experience to the job. As I prepare to begin my
freshman year at Saginaw Valley college this position will bring invaluable experience
for me as well.
I have worked every summer since I was 14 and feel that I am the right person for this
position. I have acquired strong leadership and interpersonal skills. I think very quickly
in any given situation with customers and am very proficient in solving customer
complaints.
I have achieved a 3.75 cumulative grade-point average throughout my high school years.
Although nursing is my career choice, I have a keen desire to learn everything I can about
computers.
