What is the Fligg Fieldhouse?<br />The Fligg Fieldhouse is a premiere sports complex for central Iowa and the Midwest region which holds 6 full-length courts in its 60,000 square foot building. The courts can be equipped with state-of-the-art Spalding hoops or other net systems to handle a variety of sporting events including but not limited to basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc.<br />2. Where is the Fligg Fieldhouse located?<br />The Fligg Fieldhouse is located at 3305 SE Delaware Avenue, Ankeny, Iowa 50021. The Fieldhouse is situated in a major commercial district in Ankeny and surrounded by businesses such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Menard’s, Kohl’s, TJ Maxx and Best Buy. <br />3. What makes the Fligg Fieldhouse unique?<br />The size and accessibility of the Fieldhouse make it unique in several ways. First, the complex is one of the only multi-court facilities in the Midwest area. With 6 hardwood courts, the facility is ideal for hosting pick-up games, team practices, leagues, camps, tournaments and special events at a single location. This arrangement eliminates the need to travel between multiple sites for such activities. Additionally, court availability allows for the expansion and growth of existing program(s). Second, the central location of the facility makes it ideal for holding major events. In 2009, this complex held a tournament or special event on virtually every weekend. It is easily accessed off major interstate roads and close to other large metropolitan cities. Plus, lodging, food and entertainment are just minutes away. <br />4. What programs operate out of the Fligg Fieldhouse?<br />The Fligg Fieldhouse is dedicated to providing state-of-art facilities for the development of athletes. The Fieldhouse is the home for state and national programs such as Jake Sullivan’s Kingdom Hoops, Iowa Power Volleyball Alliance, Iowa Gym Rats, Ankeny Basketball Association, Iowa Rush Soccer, and Acceleration Iowa.<br />5. What services/amenities are offered through the Fligg Fieldhouse?<br />Currently, the complex offers a wide array of services/amenities including:<br />•court rentals for pick-up games, team practices, leagues, camps, tournaments or special events such as parties, banquets and conferences;<br />•open gym memberships<br />•space/building leasing options within the facility; and<br />•advertising opportunities within the complex for businesses.<br />6.
