I have a "doctor of pharmacy" degree, otherwise known as Pharm.D. Throughout my academic life, I have interned at three different hospitals and one pharmaceutical company, which greatly broadened my horizon and gave me an insight as to what this profession actually brings you. My area of interest is clinical pharmacy, whereby the pharmacist delivers direct patient care, and assumes a role that is 'patient-centered' rather than 'product-centered', and is available for any clinical interventions that are in the best interest of the patient.
