                            INFERENCE PROCESS
                    Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

                    First step (Gateways):
                            endOfMonitorization event is sent and caught in the gateway

                            Inference process starts

                            Alarms and warnings are sent to Coordination Center


                    Second step (Coordination Center):
                            More complex inference is performed and a full workflow is executed

CONCLUSIONS

                    Light-weight inference system also run in mobile
                    devices

                    Service Oriented Architecture (OSGi, Web Services) is
                    the key to success in development and integration in
                    this project
