Introduction
A lease addendum is a document that
amends or supplements the terms of a
lease agreement. It can be used to
clarify or change specific provisions in
the lease, or to add new ones.

Why is lease addendum important?
This document is important because it
can be used to make changes to the
terms of the lease, such as the length
of the lease, the amount of rent, or
other important details. The lease
addendum can also be used to add
new clauses to the agreement, such as
a pet clause or a smoking clause.

There are many reasons why you
might need to use a lease addendum.
1) You may need to add a new tenant

moving in with you.
2) You may need to remove a tenant
from the lease agreement if someone
is moving out.
3) You may need to make changes to
the terms of the lease agreement,
such as changing the rent amount or
the length of the lease.

1) First, you will need to obtain a
copy of the original lease agreement.
2) Next, you will need to identify the
changes that need to be made to the
agreement.
3) Once the changes have been
identified, they should be clearly
stated in the addendum.
4) The addendum should then be
signed by all parties involved in the
lease agreement.

1) The date of the amendment.
2) The parties to the amendment.
3) A description of the change or modification is
made.
4) The signature of all parties involved in the
amendment.
5) The effective date of the changes should be
specified.

description of the changes that are being made.
