In science, the year will start small by learning about the cells God created and then
expand throughout the year until we are learning about His huge universe. Generally,
a unit will span across two to four weeks and close with an assessment of some kind
(not always a test). A variety of activities will take place to help students learn about
God’s creation. This means students will be working in small groups, taking notes or
reading from a resource. Homework will be given with an opportunity often given to
start the assignment in class. It is going to be an exciting, science filled year!
