** Important update regarding the Travelocity/Expedia marketing agreement **
Dear Hotel Partner,
As you know, Travelocity and Expedia have entered into a long-term strategic marketing
agreement. Travelocity is gradually moving consumer traffic to a new Expedia-powered
version of Travelocity on which we are pulling hotel descriptive content, room rates, and room
availability from Expedia.
Migration timeline: In early November, we started to redirect some consumers who are
shopping for hotels on Travelocity’s hotel path to our new Expedia-powered platform. This
migration process is well underway but is not yet complete. We will continue to migrate the
remaining hotel path traffic and package path traffic to Expedia over the next few
months. Until we notify you that the migration is complete, please continue to load and
maintain rates and inventory in Travelocity. As always your Travelocity market manager is here
to help.
Production shift: As the transition takes place, you should see a decrease in bookings from the
Travelocity system and a commensurate increase in bookings from the Expedia system. Please
continue to monitor both sources, and contact either Travelocity or Expedia if bookings are not
shifting systems as you expect.
Contracts & economics: All bookings you receive from the Expedia-powered version of
Travelocity will be governed by your agreement with Expedia. Your Travelocity terms will
continue to govern the bookings you receive from Travelocity-powered pages.
Travelocity link: As the migration progresses, you may find it hard to get to our legacy pages.

Lastminute.com and Travelocity Partner Network (TPN): The Travelocity/Expedia marketing
agreement does not include Lastminute.com or Travelocity Partner Network/World Choice
Travel. Both of these business units still source hotel content from the Travelocity database, so
please continue to maintain your content, rates, and availability on Travelocity to ensure you
maximize sales on these sites.
Booking source identification: A booking made via the Expedia powered pages of Travelocity
will have BOTH a Travelocity and an Expedia logo on the booking notification:
