 Founded in 1992 by Linda Breitstone, Island
Harvest has distributed over 71 million pounds
of food during its existence. Additionally, the
organization coordinates a number of valuable
programs including the Finding Solutions
Education Series; Kids Weekend Backpack
Feeding Program; Summer Food Service
Program; Mobilized Interfaith Coalition Against
Hunger; Mobile Food Pantry; Operation:
