TIPS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS
AND BODY LANGUAGE
1. Be natural and friendly
2. Speak aloud, in a clear voice, with a correct pronunciation and slowly(some pauses)
3. Don't read word-for-word from your paper. Talk.
4. Face the audience (keep eye contact)
5. Stand straight but relaxed
6. Use your hands, posture, gestures, and body movement to express your feelings better (for
example, no hands in pockets, no nervous ticks...)
7. Dress appropriately
8. Never turn your back on the audience
9. Never laugh because the audience laugh
10. Be enthusiastic
11. Be creative
