Students learned about note values in music class that aligned with fractions in math class, helping them follow rhythm. They studied body percussion symbols from a book and added movements to music based on the text. The piece of music referenced was Radetzky March.

1. A28 Math in Music
Students were taught the value of the notes at the music lesson, at the same time when
they learnt the fractions at the math lesson. This helped them to follow the rhythm.
Then we studied the symbols of body percussion (from the book “Strauss für die Schule”)
and we added movements to the music according to the musical texts.
