Every aspect of our lives at home and at work is getting automated and streamlined. We have apps that are custom-designed to accommodate our every request and anticipate our every need. This creates a tremendous challenge for the workplace to have internal systems agile enough to keep pace with the consumerization of the world around us. Not to mention the fact that many organizations are being forced to do more with less – less budget, less personnel, less time.
In this presentation, we’re going to focus specifically on some of the challenges faced by Human Resources departments, and take a look at how we can streamline interaction between employees and HR Specialists. Considering how data-driven much of our world is, it is more important than ever that our data on record stays up to date and accurate.

3. Why would we want to apply EasyVista to our HR
processes?
According to the US Small Business Administration, “the
average business owner spends between 7 and 25% of
their time handling employee-related paperwork. By
reducing this burden, time and money savings can be
realized”.
4. Why would we want to apply
EasyVista to our HR Processes?
Automation of a company's Processes should result in:
Reduced turnaround time per transaction
Reduced cost per transaction
Reduced number of inquiries to HR
Increased management and employee satisfaction
5. The scenario: Our example company has been using EasyVista for a while for
IT self-service and back office IT. They have recently added several options to
the self-service catalog to test user adoption and compare HR performance on
the automatically assigned tasks vs. traditional email and paper-based
methods.
We will be following a few different employees in their interactions with
EasyVista to see how much easier it is to create, assign, and complete
requests.
6. • HR Specialist: Andrew Adam (requests services for
employees, also completes requests)
• Department Manager: Naomi Albers (performs
approvals for employees in her department)
• Employee: Jennifer Castro (can make requests for
herself)
• Backoffice: Various employees who carry out technical
requests that are part of some HR processes such as
on-boarding and off-boarding
7. Scenarios:
• Jennifer is getting married and needs to change her last
name
• Andrew needs to request medical leave on behalf of an
employee
• One of Adam’s employees is retiring, so he begins the
multi-staged off-boarding process on their behalf
8. Thank you!
