1. Caloway’s 10-State Tour Democratic candidate, Christian Von Caloway, began his ten state tour on November 6, 2008. Caloway makes his first stop in Pittsburgh, PA. He reaches out to the residents of Pennsylvania with his “modern take on classic values”. Not too far from Pennsylvania is Dayton, Ohio where Caloway happens to make his next stop. Caloway informs the roaring crowd about his stand on education. “In order to keep our country in good hands, the youth should receive the education they need for a brighter future,” Caloway stated. The next stop in Lafayette, Indiana gave Caloway a chance to introduce the issue on an eco-friendly United States. His goal is to put a “greener” approach into action to ensure a healthy environment for future generations. As Caloway gains more momentum, he continues his tour down to Asheville, North Carolina. He expressed his objectives on the war in Iraq. “Whether or not war was the right decision, we have to finish what we started, and get home safe and soon,” Caloway declared. 2. 10-State Tour Cont’d NEWS Next, Caloway wins the hearts of the people in Savannah, Georgia as he states his qualifications for being President. Although he is a democratic candidate, he is neither an extreme conservative nor an extreme liberal. Caloway claims, “I have a relatable and strong grasp on reality, but am very open to change”. Rolling on with his ten state tour, Caloway spends time in New Orleans, Louisiana. In Louisiana, he addresses his attempt at a peaceful relationship with North Korea. His goal is to improve the country’s overall foreign legions by trying to create treaties. Moving right down the east coast, Caloway arrives in Port Charlotte Florida. Sticking to his modern take on classic values, he wants to make citizenship laws more obtainable, but wants to make illegal immigration crimes more strict. The first western state Caloway arrives in is Dallas, Texas. Caloway gains support from the people of Texas in a jovial motorcade and a speech that emphasizes his platform. “I have the leadership to guide this country to a better future,” Caloway exclaims. As he reaches the end of his ten state tour, he stops by Scottsdale, Arizona. In Arizona, he states, “Although Obama and Bush served our country well, I will make change happen as soon as possible, but look before I leap.” Finally, Caloway ends his tour in Denver, Colorado. At a black tie and tail benefit, he addressed his ideas on improving the United States as a whole. Now it is up to the people to decide whether or not Caloway will serve our country.
