Details for sites for Thaco Silo site in Sharkia

Dear All
In our search for the location first site (50 acers or multiple), Kindly bea dvised the following
1- We asked Mr. Diab to source location site from private sector/ persons or else on the
bases of buying a REGISTERED land. His feed back indicated the average price is about LE
90-120 K per acer and for land that is some how quite far from the main roads and not
necessary have electicity
2- We met the Governor and staff at Sharkia three times including two visits to about five
locations at Hussynia. Please note that this year Sharkia produce more than 1.25 M tons
of wheat and store about 900 K tons in silos, open fileds and developed sites !!.
3- In the first visit we were shown two sites,
- one is 120 acer , on road, with electiity and invicinty to vertical silo of capacity of 60
K tons. (needs a lot of work for re leveling)
- Second , about 167 acers, on road with electicity, and need leveling as well.
The governor (for a reason or another) appricate these two spots very much and interested to
have PPP with us for any of the above (20 % shares!!) based on the land value and his
facilitation for all needed licenses !!.
I replied, I have to show my partners another option including the long lease (25-50 years).
4- I was shown three spots (based on the long lease option and NOT the PPP). In my
evaluation any of them is suitable. All are on main roads, with electricity supplies and to
my evaluation , their leveling might be easier. They need to increase the level of land by
about 30- 50 cm. IN my evaluation , if we need to have just a start, then the 40 acers
might be the spot of choice.
5- If it is my choice and we have the agreement of spot b (photos hereunder showing the
200 acer spot, but this needs fast action and further arrangement to make sure it will
not go to other use like the innovation village)
6- After we make our mind which piece we are interested in, then they will fix a committee
for the long lease agreement.
