Every now and then, people experience sub-clinical or potential suicide through negative thoughts about failure, degradation, or destruction that make them feel self-pity, shame, guilt, and suffering. This is caused by judging oneself based on unrealistic standards imposed by others. To prevent sub-clinical suicide, one should not worry about the past, future, or others, but instead be true to oneself. Regular Namasmaran, or remembrance of the divine, enables one to experience vitality in nature, feel buoyant and dynamic, and be relieved from oppressive social pressures and paradigms, allowing one to live happily.

Prayashchitta is any action that leads one to realize the Truth. The Truth is a state of unity, connectivity, and benevolence beyond words. Repeating names of God (Namasmarn) can wake one up to realize the Truth.
