& Essay/Oration Scholarship
Contest
On
Saturday, January 15th @ 10:00
am to 12:30 pm at Life Changing
Faith located at 7185 W. Main
Street, Frisco, TX. (214) 387-8040
The Celebration will include Scholarship Guidelines:
performing arts in music, dance Required Theme: “The Drive behind
the Dream…”
and a special performance of the
“I have a Dream” speech. The Essay: 2-3 pages double spaced, typed
maximum. Mail to:

High Schools’ Seniors competing Compelling Oration: 6-8 minutes
in oration for 1st & 2nd place maximum; note cards allowed. Judging
College scholarships. criteria to be provided to Finalists.
Essays Due: By 5:00 pm on Jan 5th;
Scholarship Amounts: Top 10% Finalists will be notified by Jan.
7th and will be narrowed further by 1st
$1500 1st & $1000 2nd place round orations on Jan 8th. Top 5
Finalists will go on to Final orations on
Jan. 15th.
*In addition to the Required Theme; each
essay MUST include why winning this
Light Refreshments will be served.
