2. Executive Summary
The aim of this report was to figure out the attitudes and preference of people to improvement in current government
system in India, and major areas that require urgent focus out of the different factors decided for improvement in society.
The results indicate that the majority of people considering security, water & electricity supply along with jobs
opportunities as main factors, on which authorities should focus immediately.
Introduction
After having a one of the biggest election victory in general elections, expectations are now exceptionally high from the
new government with regards to reforms and governance. The clear majority to a party in general elections reduced the
political uncertainty that resulted into a stable and strong government. New government priority is to put India back on
the road and continue the economic growth and development, people have chosen them with great expectations, for
fulfilling these expectations government decided upon the factors those would be helpful in road to success, but one has
to understand the importance and preference of factors which require more attention and priority over others.
This research shows the priority of the factors and preferences, selected by people for their cities and seeking for an
improvement in overall society, looking for solution and strong steps from government to provide a stable and robust
system.

5. Preferences given by young respondents on important factors:
We have received a very positive response for this research and we would like to continue such research on monthly basis
and present the results in front of people and authorities, so that we could have a tracker of changes and need of people
and their requirements. This would also help us in maintaining the change in preferences of people, according to the
situation and time.
