it,it’sjustwokenup.It decidestolookfora way to plugthe hole,making binocularswithitshands
to surveythe surroundings,cuttoa POV macro shot that looksaroundat the area a bit andthen
spotsthe hand of the persononthe otherside of the kitchen,zoomin,asthe hand isopeningthe
bottleddrinkandthenmovingaway,leavingbehindthe capasit falls,slow motionof the cap
landingonthe counter.The shot zoomsoutand movesback throughthe hole of the doughnut,
emphasizinghispurpose.The doughnutstartstomake hiswayto the otherside of the kitchen,
encounteringobstaclesalonghiswaybefore he isstoppedatthe heatedstove.The doughnutuses
stringor somethingsimilaranda paperclipfroma stack of documentsnearbytomake a grappling
hookwhichhe usesto get acrossthe room.“Parkour,parkour”.He makesitto the otherside asthe
hookslips,andhe almostfallstothe floor.Slow motionspeedrampof the hookslippingandslow
motionof the doughnutfallingandcatchingitself,3differentshots.The doughnutgetsuponthe
counterand picksup the bottle cap,he popsinto the hole andusesithas a plug,he isfilledwithjoy.
He letsoff a sighof relief,whenasuddenhandswoopsdownandgrabshim, as the drinkcap falls
fromits place,slowmotionmacrodrinkcap hittingthe counter,again.the nextshotisthe chestof
the personwiththeirarmsin frame as theyeatthe doughnut,screaminginhorror.we watch as
crumbs fall andthe creditsroll.
Evaluation
Some of the strengthsof the filminclude ithavingonlyone actorappearingforminimally compared
to the maincharacter doughnut.Havingthe maincharacter of the filmbeingplayedbyaninanimate
objectalsogetsrid of any weaknessbroughtonwithanactor as it allowsprecise control overthe
movementsandactionsof the character whilstfilmingtakesplace.The filmwill be predominately
shotin a single areaof a kitchenwhichgetsridof anytravel continuityissuesthatwe mighthave,
were we switchinglocationsfrequently.The filmshouldalsobe verypractical tomake,asit would
mostlyconsistof stand-alone shotsasourdoughnuttraversesthe landscape.Theremaybe issueson
setof the doughnutgettingdamagedwhilstshootingsome of the practical stuntswiththe doughnut
(e.g.,parkourswingacrossthe room) In orderto avoidthis, we will have more thanone doughnutto
playthe part of the maincharacter. There will alsobe some postproduction effectsaddedin After
Effects. There aren’tanypotential areasfor offense, sothisissomethingnottoworryabout. In total
there isonly1 actor playingthe unnamedchest,several doughnutsplayingthe maindoughnutand1
locationina private home thatwill be signedoff ona release form.
