design. The most fun part of
my job is spent with the kids
working on a project that they
want to finish more than I do. I
love getting to see the spark
light for design in my students.

Technology Engineering Teacher, Nashoba Regional High School
Bolton, MA 2001 - present
In the 13 years at Nashoba Regional High School I have been asked to instruct a
number of different classes from all corners of the department. In my early years, I
instructed upperclassmen in an applied physics course entitled Principles of
Technology. I also taught a traditional Introductory Wood class for two years as
well. I helped implement and co-teach a MCAS focused class entitled Engineering
the Future to incoming 9th grade science students. Since it was a mixed level
course teamwork with my coworkers on individualizing reading assignments,
assessment and lab environments was a great challenge to overcome. I now have
set my attention on the quickly growing Computer Graphic Design area of the
department and I teach both Graphics 1 and 2. These classes utilize the latest
technology offered in the Adobe Creative Suite.
