THRILLER OPENING PROPOSAL
Daniel & Daniel
Idea
 A person is awoken as they are always unease and paranoid this is shown
through him twitching , twisting and turning around in his bed due to past
memories , as he wakes up you see that there are knives and fighting gear
and he then looks at his phone and jumps up leaving in a hurry for which the
audience is clueless to why. As the boy leaves his house the audience will
start to realise that this boy is being watched by whom we don’t know all we
see is a black figure appear behind him before doing so the mystery man
creeps up behind the boy to build up tension and then slams him hand upon
the shoulder of this boy and then the title of the opening will appear.
Setting
This will be set the boys house mainly in the
boys bedroom and outside in an alley way our
reasoning for this is because even in his own
room he is paranoid and the moment we set
foot outside we realise the real reason for him
behaving in such a way in his own room is
because we find out that he is being watched
Costume/Props
 The “attacker” will be dressed in all black so
he looks like a dark figure which can not be
seen. The main character will be dressed in a
tracksuit which can be considered as a typical
clothing for a youth of today.
 Knifes will be seen throughout the film and
will be put into a bag which is another key
prop for our piece.
Music
 Music plays a key role in the title sequence
and we think there is a specific type of thriller
music that will support our idea of a opening
title sequence.

Editing
 We Looked at examples of title sequences
and we thought the example below was very
effective and what we liked about this clip in
terms of editing was how the typography was
produced.
 We considered slow motion for the beginning
then fast as the scene goes on and starts
becoming intense.
