written as part of the Acts entitled "What is an end"; a positive series of poems which do not count on an end, but on the "and" beyond the end.

1. What is an end
I take a stand,
I draw,
I blame,
I don't believe I stake my claim.
And even though
An even flow
Might obligate
The inner me to touch, not feel...
... This craze... this madness...
It seems so hard,
so dropped
so ripped
I call it all... deceived.
It's strange,
But true,
A motley crew
Can right exhale you outright.
But even these,
Like autumn leaves,
Downright contrive me in, as in their sights.
I need a forest,
'Need some trees,
And grass, and blossoming
...
I don't believe I do,
I live it,
Just some away,
Just some derailing
... Even if by sailing...
A world, a place,
It is a given present such;
But climbing, startling
Denotes its clutch.
I find,
Whatever lies,
What ever shies;
It's in it...
Gliding, smiling...
What ever drives it such!
I know,
Just by the diving -
- An even courage might it stall.
But called,
Not sold,
And seeded even,
When it's you it tries to fail
I call, like so,
Right back,
Not low,
What in it lives... And breathe it!!
