Asturias. For me and many people, it is the best wonder ever.

1. The Principality of Asturias is an autonomous community. It is located within
the kingdom of Spain.

2. It is on the Spanish north coast facing the Cantabrian Sea. The capital of the
province is Oviedo, but Gijón is the biggest city.

3. The Lakes of Covadonga (el. 1134 m.) are two glacial lakes located on the region
of Asturias. These lakes are Lake Enol and Lake Ercina located in the Picos de
Europa range and they are the original center of the Picos de Europa National
Park, created in 1918.
