1. What does Curtis Funding Group do?
We’ve been asked, so we’ll answer.
We provide the funds a business or municipality needs, to obtain the equipment
they require, to operate their organization.

The benefit is that this allows you to acquire the equipment you need now, rather
than waiting to accumulate cash.
The revenues that your equipment generates allow your organization to pay back
those funds. The equipment pays for itself.
You may respond that your bank will do that, which may be true, but let us point out
that your bank may have other requirements:
• Your bank may need a large down payment; With CFG, we usually require just
first and last payments.
• Your bank will reduce access to funds by the amount of the equipment cost,
leaving you less flexible if you need working capital, inventory, or emergency
funds.
• Banks will usually put an all-assets lien in place, which means that ALL of
your equipment is tied up under liens, and those liens will have to be released
before you can sell any of it or trade it in on new equipment.
• Do you have good personal credit and/or strong financials? That’s great,
because we can get you a good rate, flexible terms and no down payment; And, if
your credit is not as good? We can still help:
• If your credit is challenged, or your business is newer, we have underwriters
that can help us provide a solution for you. While the rate may not be as low,
your equipment may still be cost-justified, and it may make sense to acquire
it. And, in the process, you’ll be building a relationship that will help us get you
more-competitive rates on your next transaction.
• We don’t ask you to check some on-line portal to see the status of your
application; and we don’t use our time trying to update a portal for you to check --
we call and/or email you with communications, and we would rather take our time
talking with you than updating portal info. Let’s communicate; it works better.
• We bring everything you need to you. Return the completed application to us,
on-line or by fax, at your convenience. Upon approval, we email documents to
your office and provide you an overnight label to return originals--That’s it!--along
with the flexibility to meet your needs, with personal attention to every detail.
• How many choices does your current lender or lessor offer? At Curtis
Funding, our Micro-Ticket program provides terms for as little as $5,000 of
equipment cost. Our Mid-to-Large-Ticket program provides nearly limitless
equipment choices. Monthly terms range from 24 to 84 months, and we offer
deferred payments, seasonal payments and master lines of credit of $5 million or
more----all with personal attention to every detail.
