2. The shot sizes are usually close ups/ medium close-ups.
The interviewees do not talk directly/ look directly at the camera.
Interviewees are never in the centre, always offset to the side (Rule
of Thirds).
3. The graphics below (name and occupation, role, etc.) are used to
identify them and show their relevance to the documentary.
The mise en scene is relevant (eg. background, clothing) to the
topic and visually interesting or suitable.
4. We do not hear the questions being asked because they would’ve
been edited out.
Other relevant footage or photographs is used to cutaway from
interviews to help with the editing process and to hide the jump
cuts.
