History
3. The tradition of Manions at Villanova
continued when Joe Manion, Jr. chose to attend
the University in 1984
During his time here, Joe met his wife, Mary
Eileen who was studying to be a nurse.
The two married in 1992 unfortunately not in
the Villanova chapel because it was under
construction at the time
Tradition Continues
4. In 2011, Joe, Jr.’s son, Joseph the third, also
chose to attend the prestigious Main Line
institution for his undergraduate education
Soon after that, in 2013, Joe and Mary Eileen’s
oldest daughter Caroline, also chose to attend
Villanova, creating a third generation of
Manions at Villanova
