Jimmy Santos of Auto Sparkle Detail, in Atlanta,

Here are today’s short list of Marketing Tactics, Tech Tools,
Books and Podcasts.
1. Marketing Tactic: Coupons & Discounts – Yes, this is a
great marketing tactic. People like to save money. They will go
out of their way to save a few dollars if the service is great and
they perceive it is a good deal. You can use Groupon or a
service like it, of print up your own coupons and give them
away. You can even post a discount code on your website or
in the local paper/ small business flyer. Test out which offer
works the best and repeat it 4-6 times per year. Let us know
how it goes for you.
2. The Book of the week – Thank you Economy – Gary
Vaynerchuk. One of my favorite marketers and businessmen. The
Author of Crush it & Jab Jab Jab, Right Hook.  
Gary talks about how important it is, no! How Vital it is the provide
the best possible customer service to your customers.
Why? Because there are many more competitors vying for their
attention and your business. If you are not attentive, positive, polite
and very professional every second that you are with
the customer, they may just go somewhere else next time.
Yes, you may say that you already knew this without reading the
book. Maybe. but gary has a way with words and explains
it ingrate detail and breaks it down in a way nobody else can.

3. Technology – Instagram – After you clean a car or sell
products to a new customer, take a few pictures and post
them on Instagram. This is a wildly popular site that
millions of people use every day.
Instagram embeds into webpages and Facebook posts.
When you post your hard days work, please may see it
and this proof of excellence may score you a new
customer. Keep it fresh and good things will happen.
4. Podcast of the week. The James Altcheter Show –
James is a very eclectic person and amazing
businessman. Have you heard that slogan, if you are not
failing, you’re not trying? James made $20M in the Dot
Com bubble and lost it all. He made another $25M and
lost it all in the crash of 2008.
14 of 15 businesses that he has started have failed.
Today, James talks to top entrepreneurs, authors and
