  3. 3. What is a `university´?<br />A university is an institution of higher education, which grants academic degrees in a variety of subjects.<br />The word university is derived from the latin `universitasmagistrorum et scholarium´ which means `COMMUNITY OF TEACHERS AND SCHOLARS´.<br />
  4. 4. Organization<br />Each institution is organized differently.<br />Universities are generally divided into campus. In Which you find faculties and sometimes the residence.<br />All universities have a board of directors, a president, chancellor or rector.<br />

Difference between public university and private university<br />Public university systems are ruled over by government higher education boards.<br />Private universities are privately funded.<br />Public universities are much larger and have more diverse of careers than the private university.<br />Private universities students have more personal relationships with their professors.<br />
