3. Somewhere around 6 months
ago or so, I was contacted by
Robin Barr, the creator of Canker
Sores Begone, who told me of a
new product she was working on
and asked if I’d like to try it.
4. Now, some people write
automotive blogs and get to test
drive the newest and baddest
muscle cars before they come on
the market.
5. Some people blog about tech
gadgets and get to play with the
newest toys before they even get
revealed at CES.
6. Me… I get a front row seat for
new mouth goop.
Hey… I’m totally fine with that.
7. As someone who’s gotten
canker sores my entire life, I’m
always up for trying something
new, and with the track record
that Canker Sores Begone has
built over the years, I was
frankly honored that Robin
would include me in her testing.
8. So what is this new product?
It’s a stick.
And from the looks of things,
it’s taking over the Canker
Sores Begone mantle, as it says
on the website that the Canker
Sore Liquid Drops are no longer
available.
9.
10. How does it work?
Think of it like Chap Stick for
your ulcer. Make sure and dry
your ulcer with a cotton swab
or tissue, then rub over the
surface of it with the Canker
Sores Begone Stick. And Voila,
that’s it.
11. While I can’t claim that it’s
made the length of my ulcers
any shorter (though many
people claim it does), I can say
that it doesn’t sting at all and
gently coats the ulcer while it
cools it with a rather tasty
minty flavor.
12. Seriously, if you hate the
medicine taste you get from
most mouth ulcer medications,
this is your jam. It’s like the
Altoids of ulcer medicine.
13. It lasts up to 30 minutes or an hour
depending on where it is and what’s
going on in your mouth, enough to
get you through a meal or to chill it
out afterward.
14. I can definitely recommend the
new Canker Sores Begone
Stick to anybody who wants a
quick, convenient, and all-
natural way to treat the pain
and discomfort of canker sores.
15. Quick disclaimer: Robin used
some of my feedback in a quote
on the back of the packaging –
which I think is pretty cool.
