1. 1) This August there will be primaries in Hawaii for Senate and Congress. Every Hawaii
voter can choose between voting in the Democratic or Republican primary.
In the Democratic primary, Mazie Hirono and Ed Case are competing for the Senate
nomination. For Congress, Bob Marx, Tulsi Gabbard, Mufi Hannemann, and Esther
Kiaaina are running for the Democratic nomination.
In the Republican primary, Linda Lingle is running against John Carroll for the Senate
nomination, and two candidates are running for Congress.
With all this in mind, are you likely to vote in the Democratic primary, the Republican
primary, or neither primary?
