• Cancun is a city in southeastern Mexico, located on the northeast coast of
the Yucatán Peninsula in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. It is a major
world-renowned tourist destination, as well as being the seat of the
municipality of Benito Juárez. The city is located on the Caribbean Sea,
and is one of the easternmost points in Mexico. Cancún is located just
north of Mexico's Caribbean coast resort band known as the Riviera Maya.
• Cancún boasts a superb location, a year-round mild climate and gorgeous,
warm, sandy white beaches washed by the Caribbean Sea. Its waters,
sheltered by Isla Mujeres, are calm and perfect for surfing, sailing, diving

also suitable for fishing and snorkeling.

90. Notes• Le Blanc
– This is the top resort in Cancun, I can’t put into words how wonderful it is. I don’t usually tell my
clients to look at tripadvisor.com, but this an exception. You can tell from the reviews the level of
service you will receive here. This is a true luxury hotel. It’s walking distance to the bars and
nightclubs in Cancun. The rooms do not have balconies but the glass windows slide open making a
French balcony . You have an oceanfront view from the Jacuzzi. There is entertainment at night but
Le Blanc is not the type of place that has a DJ at the pool and foam parties. The $1,500 resort credit
is an awesome added value.
• Secrets The Vine
– This resort is more modern, the décor and architecture are modern. The Vine has a more active
atmosphere with games and entertainment at the pool. It’s a high rise so your room will be on the
20th floor or higher. The balcony is very large. This resort has the smallest beach area. You can take
a cab or public bus to the bars and nightclubs of Cancun. The fine has airplane size bottles of liquor
in minibar.
• The Royal Playa del Carmen
– This resort is located right off the famous 5th avenue in Playa del Carmen with tons of shops, bars
and nightclubs. The resort has Mediterranean architecture with columns and wrought iron. Most
of the restaurants are outside unlike the other options which have air conditioned restaurants. The
vibe here is very active and there are often large wedding or friend groups staying here.
– All of the resorts have very nice spas and some type of nighttime entertainment. The food is great
at all of them. They all have great pools and beaches. These are all adult-only resorts.
