3. Aruba
• Located 15 miles north of Venezuela in the warm waters of the
southern Caribbean, Aruba is home to beautiful white-sand
beaches, 82-degree days, and some of the warmest people in the
world.
• The island is 19.6 miles long and 6 miles across, with a total area of
70 square miles. Aruba is located just below the hurricane belt, and
unlike many islands in the Caribbean, the climate is dry, so it rarely
has a rainy day. On the south and west coasts of Aruba, you’ll find
Oranjestad, the capital city, and miles of beaches that have been
named some of the best in the world.

5. Aruba
• In the interior of the island, you’ll find Arikok National Park, a
desert like preserve with a variety of wildlife, cacti and dramatic
rock formations. You’ll also find some of Aruba’s most striking
views, as the ocean crashes against the rugged shoreline below.
• On the northeast coast, along the windward shore, you’ll see the
island’s unofficial mascots, the fofoti trees. The constant trade
winds have permanently sculpted them into graceful,
southwesterly bending forms
6. Aruba
• Aruba’s pristine, white-sand beaches and calm turquoise
waters are unlike any others. TripAdvisor.com recently named
Eagle Beach one of the top ten beaches in the world
7. Aruba Weather
• Aruba is blessed with clear skies, bright sunshine (more sunny days than
any other island!) and cooling trade winds practically every day of the
year. Except for a few scattered weather events annually and some brief
showers on some days (very welcomed by our tropical plants!), the sun
does indeed always shine here! Wonderful Aruba weather is one of the
many reasons for the island’s highest return-visitor rate in the Caribbean.
• On average, Aruba receives only 16 inches of rain, with the greatest
likelihood of precipitation from October through January. Temperatures
average in the low 80s year-round, with higher numbers recorded from
May through October and lower temperatures from December through
March.
• Aruba is known for its refreshing trade winds blowing from the northeast
and southeast, peaking midday. Aruba lies on the southern fringes of the
hurricane belt, with little possibility of a direct hit.
