5. Technology has been helping us long before modern humans have been around. Neanderthals used spears fashioned from sticks and stones to hunt for game and defend themselves, and used sharpened rocks for everything from skinning animals to chopping wood.
6. Caveman (?) Playing with Fire Fire meant that they would stay warm in the winter; helps cook their meat, and could help fend off predators. Technology allowed humans to become better hunters, allowing them to spend more spare time and resources creating and discovering new technologies. Over time technology would become advanced enough to create automobiles, cell phones, and home computers.
