The industrial revolution was a time when changes were made in many different things like agriculture, textile and metal manufacture, transportation, economic policies and the social structure in England. The changes in the way people farmed made huge increases of supplies of food and raw materials. These changes made it possible to feed all of the people that came to the industrial centers to do work. The changes in industrial groups and new development of machines resulted in increased production of goods, and competence increased the wealth, commerce, both foreign and domestic.

The Industrial Revolution took place in Great Britain during the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and America after 1815. The new developments included new industrial technology, the utilization of mineral sources of energy, the concentration of labor in factors, and the development of new methods of transportation. During this time machines were used in the textile, iron, printing, paper making, and engineering industries. With all these new machines people could save time and labor. Machines like the mule were used to produce textiles. The most important were the steam engines which pumped water from mines and provided heat to re-smelt pig iron into cast iron.
This helped in the industrial machinery, buildings, bridges, locomotives, and ships. The new machinery caused the population to grow because of the need for worker to run the machines. With all the new machines the life’s of people change for the better. Today machines are still the most important things in the industry.

The 1800s changed the way people in the early 1900s would live and communicate. The discovery of nylon and plastics made it possible to build transistors and the first computer. During the 20th century the silicon chip was invented and this chip would enable people to have computers in our homes. These changes have made this world advance in technology and have changed our world so much over the past years. Almost 500 years of constructing on the print technology, the Internet has changed the industry in a way that is unlike any other I have seen during the revolution. The overall change brought on by the Internet, occurring over a fraction of the industry's life cycle has really made technology what it is today. Wit.

Sterns, P. N. (1998). The Industrial Revolution in world history.
(2nd ed) Boulder, CO. Westview Press.
In this edition one will learn about how industrialization play a
big part during 1760’s and on into the 1960’s taking people
from rags to riches. This all first happened in Western Europe
and into the United States (sterns, 1998, p. 43). The second
place the Industrialization happened was in Russia and Japan,
and followed by eastern and southern Europe. The
Industrialization would continue until it spilled across all parts
of the world. North France set up a mechanical wool spinning
factory during the 1840’s and South Korean Industrialization
started with factories that would later be known as Hyundai.
This Hyundai factory would be started by Chung Ju Yung who
was a South Korean villager that came from nothing and made it
big. By 1980’s Chung would have 135,000 employees’ and 42
overseas offices.
Veblen, T. (2003). Imperial Germany and the Industrial
Revolution. New York:
Macmillan.
In this book you will learn about Imperial Germany and the
Industrial Revolution. This tell us about the struggles men
endured during the time of the Revolution. The Industrial
Revolution was known to be a huge labor saving option for the
people and all devises they used (Veblen, T. (2003). Economic
circumstances entered on a new period in the industry and in
4. trade, and the statesmen of the homeland, therefore entered on a
campaign of economic policy directed to making the most of
what the new system in trade and industry had to offer (Veblen,
T. (2003). The new campaign ideals of statecraft remain the
same as they were, but the new ways to be taken account
without avoiding change (Veblen, T. (2003). The outline of the
policy was to be carried out, without changing it from the
ancient cameralistic aim of making the most of the nation's
resources for the dynastic purposes of the State (Veblen, (2003).
The Revolution changed the way people had to work and made
life more bearable for all the workmen. During this time, all the
changes that were happening was making a big difference in
how life would be better for all the people involved. Everyone
could have a better life and they could interact with different
people to better themselves.
