1. LET US HEAR YOUR VOICE!
CASTLE HIGH SCHOOL REDESIGN INITIATIVE
MINI-CHARRETTES
May 2012
Dear Parents, Students, Faculty, Staff, Administration and Community Members:
As you may know, the Castle Redesign Initiative is a community-driven planning
process to envision a redesign plan for Castle High School. Over the past seven (7)
months, a broad, diverse and committed group of stakeholders in the community
have come together, sharing valuable time, energy and mana'o to re-envision and
co-create the educational experience in 96744 for our children. As we enter the
last two (2) months of the planning process, your voice is as important as ever.
We are hosting a series of mini-charrettes throughout May. A charrette is a series
of presentation and feedback sessions that builds upon previous sessions. This is
a great chance to meet others in the community, hear about what's being
developed, and most importantly give us your feedback.
Come to one or all. Your participation would be much appreciated. Dinner will be
provided at evening mini-charrettes.
Thursday, May 3, 5:30 - 8:00 pm at KEY Project in Kahalu'u
Wednesday, May 16, 5:30 - 8:00 pm at Kokokahi YWCA
Tuesday, May 22, 5:30 - 8:00 pm at KEY Project in Kahalu'u
Saturday, May 26, 11 am - 2:00 pm at Windward Mall
Please RSVP to castleredesign@gmail.com so we can get an accurate headcount

Sincerely,
