I am currently a Data Scientist at LinkedIn using machine learning and mathematical modeling to detect different forms of abuse on the site (spam, scam, fraud, scraping, etc).
Prior to LinkedIn, I was a fellow at Insight Data Science making the transition from academia into data science in industry. For my Insight data project, I worked with a startup called Muse.ai developing a recognition system for videos that can detect, track and identify faces, as well as classify shot segments.
