6. In 1994, when Trueba took his Oscar Prize
for „Belle Époque‟, siad:
“I would like to believe in God to
thank his this prize, but I only believe
in Billy Wilder. So, thank you, Mr.
Wilder”
The following day Wilder phoned him and
said: “Hi, Fernando. I’m God”

8. This white and black film consists in a poor girl
who is adopted by an old marriage. He old

He always says that all this
characters are inspirated in
someone, but at the end they can
become too different from the beginning
people.

10. When Fernando was a child he was
dreaming of being a great painter; but
when he was 18 he was introduced in the
film world. And now is consider one of the
best film director in Spain and is known in
many countries.
