Our Inherent Happiness

1. OUR INHERENT HAPPINESS!

Our naturally occurring inherent happiness has a lot more to tell us than any thought or emotion
ever will. We are the ones that make ourselves unhappy by believing that our thoughts and
emotions have something important to tell us, and we have to take responsibility for that. Even if
we have deeply engrained thoughts and emotions—and a lot of us do—the only release from
them is in open intelligence. Our inherent happiness is what we want to get familiar with—not
with all the thoughts and emotions that seem to describe unhappiness. !

Certainty in open intelligence becomes stronger than the thoughts and emotions themselves,
and we see that the thoughts and emotions are simply the dynamic energy of that open
intelligence. !

One of the extreme ideas that many people have is, “Open intelligence can happen for other
people, but it won’t happen for me.” But when that data stream appears, where does it appear?
It appears in open intelligence. Whether it has to do with people who are conventionally
described as being really virtuous and beautiful or those who are described as being totally
nasty and horrible, everyone rests equally in the natural perfection of open intelligence.!
