POSITION	
  SUMMARY	
  
Marketing	
  is	
  the	
  activity,	
  institutions,	
  and	
  processes	
  for	
  creating,	
  communicating,	
  delivering,	
  and	
  
exchanging	
  offerings	
  that	
  have	
  value	
  for	
  customers,	
  clients,	
  partners,	
  and	
  society.	
  The	
  primary	
  
responsibility	
  of	
  the	
  Director	
  of	
  Marketing	
  position	
  is	
  to	
  increase	
  the	
  informational	
  flow,	
  number	
  of	
  
inquiries,	
  visits,	
  applications,	
  and	
  enrollments	
  at	
  Christ	
  Community	
  Lutheran	
  School.	
  The	
  Director	
  of	
  
Marketing	
  works	
  as	
  a	
  member	
  of	
  the	
  Lead	
  Team.	
  	
  
	
  
For	
  2011-­‐2012	
  the	
  Director	
  of	
  Marketing	
  is	
  responsible	
  to	
  
• Increase	
  referrals	
  leading	
  to	
  successful	
  enrollment	
  by	
  2%	
  
•      Clarify	
  and	
  promote	
  the	
  Christ	
  Community	
  Lutheran	
  School	
  brand	
  	
  
•      Determine	
  how	
  to	
  best	
  define,	
  package,	
  and	
  promote	
  the	
  brand	
  
•      Identify	
  progress	
  polestars	
  
•      Develop	
  a	
  written	
  Marketing	
  Plan	
  approved	
  by	
  the	
  Executive	
  Director	
  
•      Increase	
  the	
  Voice	
  of	
  the	
  Customer	
  opportunity	
  
•      Outsource	
  professional	
  design	
  of	
  Marketing	
  materials	
  
•      Assemble	
  and	
  distribute	
  marketing	
  materials	
  to	
  the	
  community	
  
•      Coordinate	
  CCLS	
  Sundays	
  at	
  each	
  member	
  congregation	
  
•      Coordinate,	
  with	
  the	
  Admissions	
  Director,	
  all	
  open	
  house	
  events	
  
•      Complete	
  signage	
  initiatives	
  at	
  Concordia	
  and	
  Glendale.	
  Explore	
  signage	
  at	
  Mt.	
  Calvary	
  and	
  POP	
  
•      Determine	
  the	
  use	
  of	
  “Promoter	
  Groups”	
  in	
  our	
  Association	
  
•      Provide	
  monthly	
  reports	
  to	
  the	
  Executive	
  Director	
  
•      Attend	
  meetings	
  of	
  the	
  Leadership	
  Team	
  
•      The	
  position	
  is	
  scheduled	
  for	
  12	
  months,	
  30	
  hours	
  per	
  week,	
  and	
  is	
  salaried.
