● Switzerland & Singapore : Cryptocurrencies are
considered as assets and no approval required.
● Both countries are working on regulatory framework.
● UK is a regulatory sandbox to test new products. No
legal clarity yet.
● NY and Delaware have implemented “BitLicense”.
● US is unclear on rules but describes them as private
currencies.
● China and South Korea banned ICOs in Sept 2017.
● Russia mandated new regulations which includes miner
registration and application of security laws to ICOs.
● Germany, Australia, Japan and Estonia have allowed
ICOs with regulations.
