2. Droit et Devoir is located in the premises
of Mons-University and is a labour training
company.
The Board is mainly composed by
professors of the Polytechnic Faculty of
Mons.
3. Company Job-training
Socio-Professional Insertion Area offers
theoretical training with productive work in
a real situation (training centre) and
commercial pole.
Droit et Devoir aims to create jobs in favour
of the poor people by working for the
quality of the environment, through three
dimensions: social, environmental,
economic.
Droit et Devoir motto is “Never a business
will make so many people happy!” and is
explained after its vision and missions.
4. The Vision of Droit et Devoir is to create jobs for the
benefit of the poor while working for the quality of the
environment using as support for inserting the
resumption and upgrading of obsolete hardware. More
with our activity of trading at low prices for
reconditioned computers, we allow people to modest
budget to access the computer tool.
We contribute to the reduction of the digital gap but
also to the resumption and the upgrading of electrical
and electronic equipment waste (household
appliances which are presented in the circuit of the
sale or dismantled for recycling fraction), green area
care services manufacture and sale of wood for energy
reclamation and a call centre offering services to
companies (call receipt, making appointments,
exploration, investigation,..)
5. The Missions of Droit et Devoir are:
• Social Mission: be a supportive and effective response to the
needs of the most disadvantaged population by providing
quality training.
• Economic mission: contribute to the creation of many stable
jobs and quality in our environment.
• Environmental mission: act positively on the environment by
the recovery and re-use of obsolete hardware (as well as
other materials: wood, textile, WEEE, green waste) and
reduce costly and unnecessary waste.
• Integration mission: guide and accompany the participants of
our company in their objectives of social and professional
reintegration.

recovery targets of the EU Directive.

17. Droit et Devoir is involved within National, European
and International Partnerships (Greece,
Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Quebec,
Morocco, Romania, Estonia). The specific interests
of Droit et Devoir in the project are:
The partnership between national and transnational
partners has primarily to exchange and share
experiences in the context of sustainable
development.
The partnership has allowed us to abandon the logic
of a project to a logical grouping of project
partners to develop a common strategy to
promote education for sustainable development.
18. This partnership has come across methodologies, tools
and results, to adjust content and teaching
techniques throughout the project. Exchange of
experience and collaboration on various European
entities that can enhance synergies and contribute
to the development of shared strategies.
Establishment of an educational tool that helps ensure
the educational quality of actions related to
education for sustainable development.
Important cultural exchange bringing a better
understanding of EU countries and the work of
actors working in the area of SD.
