3. STREET “A”, “B” or “C” designation:
Competitors will be placed in STREET A, B or C based on
the cone area of speakers that assist in the gain of SPL.
(TYPICALLY BUT NOT LIMITED TO SUBWOOFER SPEAKERS)
The breakdown is as follows:

To be more specific, below is the speaker quantity, size and type of each STREET
class.

STREET “B” – (round) 1 – 15”, 2 – 12”, 3 – 10”, 4 – 8” and 7 – 6.5”

4. STREET 0 - 2000 or 2001+ designation:
Competitors once placed in the “A”, “B” or “C” class
will be placed in either the 0 - 2000 or 2001+ based on
the AMPLIFIER POWER in WATTS that assist in the gain
of SPL. (TYPICALLY BUT NOT LIMITED TO SUBWOOFER AMPLIFIERS)
**amplifier power will be rated by Max power located on amp or by
realmofexcursion.com whichever is greater. If your amplifier is not listed on
realmofexcursion.com we will use the max/peak power rating of the amplifier.
Amplifier Make and/or model numbers or MAX Power must be proven or visible
on amp if necessary. If amp make and model or max power cannot be proven
competitor will be moved to the 2001+ class**
STREET CLASS Rules detailed:
*failure to comply with these rules can lead to moving
to the MODIFIED or WALL/X class or disqualification*
1.0 - Vehicle must be street legal, drivable, tagged,
licensed and insured in the vehicles licensing state. Only
if required by the head judge vehicle documentation
will need to be furnished.
2.0 - Vehicle wiring must be safe and properly fused.
i.e. There must be an IN-LINE fuse between any battery
and fire wall passthru.
5. STREET CLASS Rules detailed: (cont)
2.1 - Vehicle charging systems may be upgraded but
must be MAXIMUM 14.4V when running.
2.2 - Vehicle audio system batteries cannot read more
than 14V with vehicle OFF.
2.3 - Batteries must be contained in either the Engine
compartment, Passenger compartment or cargo area.
3.0 - Speaker Enclosures or anything attached to
enclosures must not be higher than 2” above the rear
windows. A STRING TEST WILL BE PERFORMED IF
DEEMED NECESSARY BY HEAD JUDGE.
3.1 - The front of any speaker enclosures except in 2 -
seater cars and single cab trucks must be behind the
B-PILAR. In 2-seater and single cab trucks the front of
box must stay behind the seat in its forward-most
FACTORY position with the back of seat back. A STRING
TEST WILL BE PERFORMED IF DEEMED NECESSARY BY
HEAD JUDGE.
6. STREET CLASS Rules detailed: (cont)
4.0 - The source head-unit and anything attached to the
head-unit (EXCEPT ANTENNAS) must stay inside the
vehicle. Competitors may use an iPOD, USB or flash
media if desired as long as it stays inside the vehicle.
4.1 - It is the drivers option to stay in or out of the
vehicle during the SPL run.
4.2 - Any combination of windows up or down is
acceptable but all doors must be shut.
5.0 - ANY cutting of vehicle body or structural metal to
specifically increase the vehicles SPL will not be
permitted in the street class.
5.1 - Modifying the STRUCTURE of the vehicle in any
manner to assist in increasing SPL will not be permitted.
i.e. Lexand windows, Basstraps, full fabricated dashes,
cut-through tunnels, ETC.
7. MODIFIED 0 - 5000 or 5001+ designation:
Competitors once placed in the MODIFIED class will be
placed in either the 0 - 5000 or 5001+ based on the
AMPLIFIER POWER in WATTS that assist in the gain of
SPL. (TYPICALLY BUT NOT LIMITED TO SUBWOOFER AMPLIFIERS)
**amplifier power will be rated by Max power located on amp or by
realmofexcursion.com whichever is greater.. If your amplifier is not listed on
realmofexcursion.com we will use the max/peak power rating of the amplifier.

MODIFIED CLASS Rules detailed:

1.0 - Vehicle must be street legal, drivable, tagged,
licensed and insured in the vehicles licensing state. Only
if required by the head judge vehicle documentation
will need to be furnished.
2.0 - IN-LINE fuses are not required in the MODIFIED
CLASS
8. MODIFIED CLASS Rules detailed: (cont)
2.1 - Vehicle charging systems may be upgraded and
have no voltage limit.
2.2 - Vehicle audio system batteries have no
restrictions.
2.3 - Batteries must be contained in either the Engine
compartment, Passenger compartment or cargo area.
3.0 - Speaker Enclosures or anything attached to
enclosures must not be higher than 2” above the rear
windows. Anything above 2” will be in the WALL class. A
STRING TEST WILL BE PERFORMED IF DEEMED
NECESSARY BY HEAD JUDGE.

4.3 - PASSENGER SEATS MAY BE REMOVED IN THE
MODIFIED CLASS.
5.0 - Cutting of vehicle body or structural metal to
specifically increase the vehicles SPL IS PERMITTED IN
THE MODIFIED CLASS.
5.1 - Modifying the vehicle in an EXTREME manner to
assist in increasing SPL will not be permitted and will be
moved to the OPEN/X CLASS. i.e. Lexand windows,
Basstraps, full fabricated dashes, WALLS, battery racks
under the vehicle, concrete, ETC.
10. WALL designation:
Typical street or modified vehicle with any part of the
sub box (or anything attached to the sub box above the
lower window line).
OPEN/X designation:
This is an ulimited anything goes class.
YOU KNOW IF YOU SHOULD BE HERE, SIMPLE ENOUGH

**Vehicle does not have to be street legal or tagged and
licensed. VEHICLES MAY BE TRAILERD IN and does not
even have to run.
IF a competitor does not fit in the street or modified
classes they will end up here. If a competitor has Lexand
windows, Basstraps, full fabricated dash, Cieling or
Floor build outs (metal or wood), battery rack under the
vehicle, ETC. This is your home.
