2. About me Hello my name Beza I am a sophomore at MSUM. I am originally from Ethiopia. I am a physics and pre-engineering major. My interest are basketball, soccer , camping and traveling.
3. This is my first women's studies class. And I am very excited to learn about women around the world. The women I am going to be talking about are from Bangladesh. I have met a few people from there so this an interesting topic.
4. Women of Bangladesh Bangladesh as a majority of Muslims, and the Muslim culture places women under men. But within the last two decades there political status has somewhat changed. When we look at the education level of women in Bangladesh we see that it is very low. They have a literacy of 26 %. Since they follow the Islamic laws women are mostly dominated by the male which tells us there is a lot of domestic violence.
