Hoyas on the Hill Breakfast
Cawley Career Education Center, Seminar 1 Room
Join us for a lively discussion over free breakfast with Hoyas who have careers on Capitol Hill.
There will be bi-partisan representation and a chance to get to know Hoya alumni working in
a variety of professional capacities in the House and Senate. Hosted in partnership with the
Georgetown University Office of Federal Relations.

Departments of Commerce, Treasure or Housing & Urban Development? All Hoyas are invited to
register between 11 a.m. to 1 pm. for a 20-minute personalized federal resume review with
specialists in federal government jobs and extensive experience with USAJOBS and
government applications.

This workshop will cover the basics of networking for the public sector. We’ll tackle the “dos”
and “don’ts” of making successful connections and using them to find career development and
hiring success down the road. A must for any student interested in government internships
and jobs!

opportunities you can pursue before law school or afterwards!

career! Join Peace Corps Recruiter Keely Hayes to map your next steps! Learn about the work
Peace Corps Volunteers perform overseas and what it's like to serve in countries such as
Mongolia, Peru, Togo, and Vanuatu. We will discuss how to qualify for open programs, spotlight
volunteer projects, and explore new cultures.
