Many people have gone shopping for their ideal entertainment system. Depending on where they went they
were most likely very happy. Some people just go into the store without any thought of what they are looking
for. It is always in the best interest of the shopper to do some research before you go out to buy an
entertainment system. For those shoppers who do not know what to look for when they are putting together
their system, they should think about a couple of things.
• How big is the room you are putting the system in
• What kind of television do you want
• How much do you want to spend
What kind of TV should you buy?
For most people and most spaces an LCD TV will be the type of TV they will buy. For most spaces the LCD TV will be large enough
and will support any and all entertainment that will be viewed. The great thing about this type of LCD TV is that the lights do not
reflect off of the TV like other types of TVs.
This type of TV is good for movies and also regular TV. Also the great thing is that the size can go from five inches diagonally to over
one hundred inches. So depending if you want the room to be a regular living room or an entertainment room, then you will have to
decide what how big you want the TV to be. Let us now figure how big the room is.
How big is the room?
Depending on how big the room is, then you can figure out how what kind of sound system will work for you and also how
big the television can be. Usually you can follow a simple formula that can help you decide what size of TV you should buy.
This formula will give you the minimum size and also the maximum size you should put there. You first need to know how
far you are sitting from the TV in inches. To find out the smallest TV that can go in the space you take the number of inches
you are away from the TV and divide that number by 3. For instance if you are sitting seventy two inches away from the TV,
the smallest size you should put in the space is twenty four inches. The maximum size for the room is simple to figure out. You take
the distance from the TV to you then divide that number by 1.5. For example if you are seventy two inches from the LCD TV, then the
biggest one should purchase should be forty eight inches. This is very simple right? So when you find out how big your room is, then
you can get the TV that will fit it.
How much to spend
When trying to put together the entertainment system of your dreams or budget, you should definitely know the maximum
amount you want to invest. Remember, the more you invest now, the less you have to invest later if you think you need a
better system. The rule is that you should buy the most features that you can afford. This way if something new comes out,
your system can connect to it.
If you are buying an LCD TV and a sound system, generally you should spend seventy percent of the budget on the sound system.
Sound is the majority of your entertainment experience and the TV is just the visual part. Now you want to ensure that the LCD TV
that you buy will be visually extravagant, but your sound system should not be a cheap system.
You should also search around on the internet for some special deals as well. You should not just go into one store and by the first
LCD TV or sound system you come across. Ask lots of questions to ensure that you are getting the best system for your money.
Gather lots of information and then go home to think about what you learned that day. Look at the space again and then decide who
has treated you the best and who has all the services and accessories that you need to complete the system you desire. Your money
is important to you and you work hard for it. Get the system that you really want that is not going to put you over budget.
