3. Eligibility &
Requirements
You must be in good standing with the University.
Academically
• Different GPA requirements for different program types
• Most programs require a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA for admission
Behaviorally
• Discipline checks are made for each applicant and any issues
are dealt with individually.
You must also be enrolled for a minimum of 6 hours at UTA in
the semester during application to study abroad.
You will be enrolled full-time for your term abroad (12+ hours in
long semester, 6 hours for summer sessions, 3 hours for
Maymester).
